It was a rainy day in Montreal but it didn't dampen our spirits! From left to right:
Louis Menard, Glen Baxby, Yvan Robichaud (Air Canada Pilot), Serge Trembly (Air Canada Pilot),
Marc-Andre Francoeur, and Paul Francoeur (Air Canada Pilot), joined me on the 110 kilometer ride through the city of Montreal.
Yvan guided us through the maze of bike paths and back roads, taking us through one of the most scenic rides so far. What a beautiful city!
Today's ride was dedicated to Carole Miron, Paul's wife and Marc-Andre's mother. Carole is fighting the good fight against cancer. Today was for you Carole!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

This is just one of the scenic roads we traveled today.
We were hosted by the Talbot family for lunch, joining us in the photo is Francis Talbot.
It could have been my imagination but the rain drops seemed to be getting bigger in the afternoon.
A soggy bunch of riders were met in Repentigny by Serge and Chris Trembly.
Thanks again Serge and Nancy for your unbelievable hospitality.

I am so very proud of you and could not stop talking about you. The Burlington Fire Captain was here yesterday with the truck and I gave him and article and asked him to post it in the station. There is a fireman in there station that is at PMH now undergoing treatment.

Went to see the movie last night "My sister's keeper", I probably wouln'nt have gone to see this type of movie, but you and your ride influenced me to go.Please understand you are not only helping Scott, but a ton of other people as well. I am so proud of you. And you made it through Montreal without one Hab joke as well.When you get home after the ride, and after you have had lot of R and R. Take Jo and see this movie, you will understand even further what a great thing that you have done.

Glenn, nice to see you have lots of riding companions. It helps. Sorry I could not join you in your journey as you passed by but we had a family emergency with Dorothy's mom and that took the time. All is well now.

It was an honor to ride with you yesterday, despite the rain. Thank for dedicating that day to her. Not only for that dedication but simply for having ridden with you, you give me strength I will be able to pass on to her.

Scott, I had decided on joining Glen, rain or shine, when Serge sent us an invitation to join them at the BBQ he held Yesterday but realizing I could no attend. I thought I would be alone but Yvan, upon getting off our aircraft on our last cycle together from LHR to YUL, said he would be there. Then a friend of mine offered to join us. And finally my son, Marc André, for who this was his very first 100+ Km ride. What a great wet ride we had.
This way Glen was not alone for this challenging stretch of his quest and you are not either. You are in our thoughts daily.
