Town councilor Sherwin Durand and Graham Warburton greeted us on the outskirts of town and made sure the we were well looked after.

Some time ago Muriel and I sent an email to Muriel's neice Pat and her husband, Don who live in Manchester, England to tell them of your effort to raise funds for cancer research.
Today, we received a lettter back from them enclosing a donation.
Here is part of what they wrote in their letter:
"Thank you for the email with regard to your son's effort to help support his friend.
"Please find enclosed $50. We would be grateful if you pass it on to Glen with our very best wishes."

G'Day Glen! How are ya now? We were 40 miles north of Atikokan, 40,000ft at 0040Z last evening and I took a picture. Didn't quite look like Ray's 'tho. Kind of the old plate of mashed potatoes. I think we saw your beaming smile, pretty hard to limit that my friend. There are so many people across this country who embrace your efforts. You are amazing!! See you soon,
