Winnipeg to Falcon Lake
Thanks to the Winnipeg Delta for a very nice stay.
The Winnipeg pilots came out in full force to wish Warren Gobert and myself a safe ride to Falcon Lake. The boys even went back to the local airport climbed into a little airplane and took some aerial photographs of the ride.... Those picture will be made available to us shortly... Stby. Thanks for the great send off: Raymond Hall and his son Darren, Peter Moodie, Murray Bryson, Rob Weiser, Warren Gobert, and Bert Elam.. Thanks again guys.
Warren Gobert Joined me for the morning leg, way to go Warren, nice gloves!.
The Geography of Manitoba addresses the easternmost of the three prairie Canadian provinces, located in the longitudinal center of Canada.
After 4 hours and 15 mins and just as we arrived in Falcon Lake Paul was pull over by the local police, not for an infraction but to pull a big truck tire out of his way.
Today's ride stats....Hey Warren, note the heart rate on the 1st lap!!! Click on the picture to enlarge.

I went 15 miles with the champ!!!! after 59 minutes and a sustained heart rate in the 170 range with a max rate of 176 I was totally convinced that the Glen is the guy for the job.
Glen is truly doing an awesome job and a true ambassador to the cause. Glen your an inspiration to all.
Tomorrow you enter your home province, I wish you tail winds and clear skies. Pedal strong
Hope I didn't slow you down and thanks for letting me tag along.
My wife, daughter and I would like to extend well wishes to Scott.
Warren Gobert
Thanks Warren;
Were getting an early start today, we should hit the road at 7am hopefully before the winds pick up.
Good riding with ya,
Glen

Success is not a destination, it's a journey
You guys look cold! Are you sure the hearts weren't just pumpin to stay warm? Warren, your max rate is OK if you use the formula 200-age. And you are 24!!
Congrats Glen on making it into Ontario ! It's great to see how your fellow Air Canada pilots have rallied around you. The aerial photos look awesome! keep on cyclin ..... Andrea
