We have prepared, planned, organized, and we are fast approaching the day we will start. 6 days away! The butterflies in my stomach have turned to elephants, I'm ready to go, I want to go tomorrow. I have pictured the start of this journey and the end of this journey a million times, soon I will live it, and I'm looking forward to every kilometer.
I would like to thank everyone who has expressed their good wishes, donated, and volunteered. But, there has been no one more instrumental in our organization, no who has spent more time, no one who has agonized over every detail more than my wife, Joanne Baxby. Without you we could not, and would not have done such a great job.
